Course Description

An examination of marketing principles and methods as applicable to entrepreneurs and small businesses. Successful execution of an entrepreneurial idea requires a sound marketing plan. This course investigates how marketing tools enable entrepreneurs to realize the full potential of their ideas and examines marketing skills and tools required by start-ups, including guerilla and social media strategies. Furthermore, the course covers identification of market segments; product positioning; estimating product demand; setting prices; and, management of rapid growth.
