The METaS program is a community of students, faculty, and staff working together to foster a positive learning environment for Latino and low-income STEM students. The METaS program is committed to helping its students reach their STEM goals through student support programs and an inclusive environment for underserved populations in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Support includes:
- textbook loans
- new classroom materials
- internship and scholarship opportunities
- STEM counselor
- construction of new classroom spaces
METaS is located in Science Building 36, Room 305 or can be found on the METaS website. This program is funded by the HSI-STEM grant (Hispanic Serving Insitution).
