Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite courses.

Course Description

This course deals with the electrical equipment used to produce rotary energy. Four main topics are included: three-phase power, transformers, generators, and motors. Device characteristics, operating theory, system interconnection, and basic control devices are covered. Troubleshooting and logical circuit tracing are emphasized.
