Program Overview

This certificate prepares students who are looking to expand their advanced accounting foundation knowledge or who are considering taking the CPA exam in the future. The courses in this certificate cover advanced accounting theory which is also a significant portion of the CPA exam. The courses within this certificate, as well as all CSM accounting courses qualify as accounting units to sit for the CPA exam and meet the 150-semester hour requirement for licensure in California.
