Course Description

This course introduces students to the critical analysis of film form, history, and culture, focusing on film and media literacy. Emphasis on understanding and appreciating the diversity of film art and cinematic language, as well as the impact of multicultural perspectives and new media technologies. We will examine culturally responsive topics of style and meaning across a broad range of film expression.
