Course Description
An introductory course that focuses on recognizing, reading, and writing Chinese characters. The course emphasizes the evolution of characters and their writing regulations; analyzes their structures and stroke orders; and recognizes their usage in context. The instruction includes some Chinese calligraphy forms and offers hands-on experience in calligraphy pen writing. This course is designed for students who wish to extend their basic skills of Chinese character writing.
