SparkPoint

SparkPoint at College of San Mateo offers students and members of the public access to financial coaching, public benefits enrollment, and free weekly groceries. Meet with a financial coach to create a budget, develop your credit, eliminate debt, and/or sign up for benefits like CalFresh or MediCal. The program offers a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit, protein, including chicken and milk,  and dry goods, including pasta and rice. Interested individuals must complete a one-time self-declaration form. There is no proof of income or citizenship required.
