features of the study of a modern language at the College, students enrolled in certain
courses in modern language are recommended to use the language laboratory as prescribed
by each department.

A continuation of CHIN 122 Advanced Elementary Chinese II with further development
of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It includes level appropriate
reading of authentic materials. It covers the first half of the third semester's work
in Chinese as taught at a four-year university.
