This course examines the organization and behavior of real computer systems at the
assembly language level. The mapping of high level language statement to machine language
code is studied. Topics include instruction cycle, number conversion, data representation,
instruction representation, addressing, indexing, and subroutine linkage. A materials
fee as shown in the Schedule of Classes is payable upon registration.
