A student who qualifies for a particular mathematics course is eligible for any course
lower in sequence. If the student has not taken a mathematics course during the previous
two years, it is strongly recommended that the student enroll in a course below the
one for which he or she would normally be eligible. Prerequisites are listed in the
individual course descriptions. A grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite
courses. Extra supplies may be required in all Mathematics classes except MATH 811.
Minimum Grade for Prerequisites
Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite
and interpretation of data, use and misuse of statistics, graphical display
of distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion,
probability, sampling distributions, statistical inference (including
ANOVA), contingency tables, regression and correlation.

Prerequisites: MATH 120 or MATH 123 or MATH 190 or appropriate score on the College Placement Test.
Recommended: Eligibility for READ 400 or an equivalent level of reading proficiency. Eligibility
for ENGL 100 or ENGL 105.
