The courses NURS 211, 212, 221, 222, 225, 231, 232, 235, 241, 242, 245, 620, 815,
816, 817, 818, and 819 are open only to those students accepted in the Associate Degree
Nursing Program (see Index: Nursing, A. S. Degree for admission requirements). A grade
of C or higher is necessary for progression in the sequence. Upon graduation, the
candidate receives an Associate in Science degree and is eligible to take the National
Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX).

and skills basic to nursing care using the nursing process to promote homeostasis.
Supervised learning experiences corresponding with classroom instruction in off-campus
health care facilities. (Fall only.)
