Course Description

Introduction to Business provides a broad overview of the structure and function of the modern American business organization, examining critical business topics including: current business trends, entrepreneurship and small businesses, competition in global markets, ethical behavior and social responsibility, financial markets, management of resources—both human and financial—, and world-class marketing. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of business concepts as a foundation for studying other business subjects.
