All dental assisting courses require a grade of C or higher for progression in the sequence. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate is eligible to apply for a Certificate of Completion from the Office of Admissions and Records, sit for the California Registered Dental Assistant Exam, and the Dental Assisting National Board Exam.
Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite courses.
Further study in chairside procedures, skills, techniques, and instrumentation, including removal of stains and soft deposits from the coronal surfaces of the teeth. (Spring only.)
