Dental Assisting Eligibility

All dental assisting courses require a grade of C or higher for progression in the sequence. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate is eligible to apply for a Certificate of Completion from the Office of Admissions and Records, sit for the California Registered Dental Assistant Exam, and the Dental Assisting National Board Exam.

Minimum Grade for Prerequisites

Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite courses.

Course Description

Designed to meet the standards established by the Dental Board of California for the operation of dental radiographic equipment in California in a one semester format. (Fall only.)
