DGME 103 - Fundamentals of Two-Dimensional Design and ART 301 - Two-Dimensional Design are equivalent courses and either can be used to satisfy degrees in both programs.

This class is a combination of art history and studio art designed to introduce the
aesthetics, materials and techniques of the Renaissance and Baroque
periods. Students will create the dominant painting technique of each period, including
fresco, egg tempera and traditional oils. Previous studio art experience is not needed.
A materials fee in the amount shown in the Schedule of Classes is payable upon registration.
