Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite courses.

Course Description

Continuation of Ceramics I and an introduction to the chemistry of glazing and the firing process of ceramics. During this course the student will learn the techniques of loading and unloading kilns and glaze making. Students will have the opportunity to construct a large number of projects of their own choosing. We have many different firings to experiment with, including low fire, stoneware, salt and Raku. Extra supplies may be required.
