Course Description

In this course, students will learn how to analyze and transform data into useful information, and identify and anticipate trends and outcomes. Students will be introduced to statistical analysis, technologies, applications, tools, and skills required to make smarter, data-driven business decisions. Students will learn about ethical issues, including sources of biases, related to data collection, analysis, and reporting. Key topics include methodologies, techniques, and tools (e.g., Structured Query Language (SQL), Excel, and Tableau) for visualization, forecasting, and data extraction.
