Unless otherwise indicated, a grade of C or higher is required for all prerequisite
Emphasizes high-intermediate vocabulary and comprehension skills (context
clues, main idea/supporting details, critical reading) and introduces multilingual
students to the study of fiction. It is recommended that students enroll concurrently
in ESL 827 or higher writing course and ESL 847 or higher-level conversation course.
Units do not apply toward AA/AS degree
